The American Montessori Society is a non-profit, non-discriminatory service organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting the use of the Montessori teaching approach in private and public schools. AMS now supports 11,000 members across the world including teachers and other individual members, teacher education programs, and schools.

Bay Area Montessori Association is a small group of Montessorians who meet to discuss ways of supporting the Montessori community in the Bay Area. The group organizes a number of seminars, workshops, and other events that are well attended by Montessori educators.

The Association Montessori Internationale was founded in 1929 by Dr. Montessori. AMI provides guidance for AMI training courses, organizes congresses and study conferences, oversees the publication of Dr. Montessori’s books, and guides the manufacturers recognized by AMI in the production of approved Montessori materials.

North American Montessori Teachers Association (NAMTA) provides a medium of study, interpretation, and improvement of Montessori education through its publications, audio-visual collection, electronic communications, conferences, and research and service projects throughout North America and the world.
