My daughter has been with Learn and Play Montessori, Maple for the past 3 years. The journey has been an incredible one. The director Ms.Neetu is a warm, affectionate and welcoming person. My daughter learnt the skills to share and play with her peers and to follow the instructions when she was in the first year at school. The following year was the next big stepping stone with Ms.Manu and Ms.Oranoos, where she learnt her alphabets, numbers, coloring, sensory and motor skills in a loving, motivating and friendly environment. This year has been a memorable one with Ms.Priyani and Ms.Hina who have been a vital part in enhancing her social and academic skills, boosting her confidence to step into the new journey that awaits. I would like to thank Ms.Aruna, Ms.Anai, Ms.Natasha and auntyji who have been an important part of this journey. Learn and Play Montessori, Maple do a great job of keeping the premises clean and safe for the children. They have a play yard that is really well kept and safe for the children.A heart felt thanks to all the teachers and staff at LAMPS, Maple. I would highly recommend this school for every child. Star Manohar R. – Fremont, CA My son has been going to Learn And Play since January and I am very happy about our decision to send him there. I came to know about the school from a friend and they had only great things to tell me too. It is an absolute delight to see people treat you child as their own, even though he goes there only for three hours. Ms. Neetu’s and Ms. Natasha’s cheerful face greeting us is definitely a mood booster. Ms. Hina, Ms. Aruna, Ms. Aziza, Ms. Rose and Ms. Anai have made my son feel so much at home that some days he refuses to come home with me. He has already made a lot of friends and his general character has taken a very positive turn. Nothing makes me happier than to recommend Learn And Play Montessori. Star Chitra R. – Milpitas, CA Amazing preschool!! My both kids went to this school till kindergarten and it has been like a second home for them. I do not remember a single day when they said that they do not want to go to school because it is boring. It is always fun for them and they are always excited. Teachers and the administrative staff are so loving and caring that after dropping them to school in the morning, I can be at peace at my work the entire day, as I know that they are in great hands. It is like a big family and we are really glad to be part of it. A big thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff/ Program Director. You are the best!! Star Manpreet K. – Fremont, CA. – Updated Review For every parent all the decisions they take for their child are the most important, especially setting right roots for their child i.e choosing a good school for them. After checking and touring few other schools, my husband and I shortlisted this one and we became a part of the Maple family. That was the day over a year ago and today, we are very happy with our decision. Maple family is guided and led by very enthusiastic Ms. Neetu. She greets children’s and parents every morning without fail, awesome part is that she remembers all the kids and parent’s names from memory. Ms. Natasha, a wonderful person greets everyone with a smile and always willing to help. The teachers at the Maple campus and very knowledgeable and set the curriculum according to child’s needs. We observed lots of improvement in our child overall personality and academics too. We can’t thank Ms Armida, Ms Naeema and Ms Savita more, for being the best teachers for our son. The best part is the school staff/teachers are so much encouraged to talk and work through all the aspects of not only child’s development but also help parents to accommodate as and when needed. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this school for every child. Star Manpreet K. – Fremont, CA After moving to Fremont, we were actively looking for a montessori school for our daughter. When it comes to choosing a day care, I never want to make any compromises so i changed two day cares in Fremont before I chose to enroll my daughter at LAPMS, Maple. I am so glad I moved my daughter to this montessori, it is certainly one of the finest or probably the best montessories in Fremont! Ms Neetu (the director) and Ms Hazel very warmly welcome all the parents and the kids to school every morning with a smile on their face. They know all the parents and their kids by their first name! My daughter has been to a couple of day cares before but none of the directors or the teachers ever addressed us by our first name. Ms Neetu, Ms Hazel and the teachers are very approachable and genuinely care for the kids. If we are late to school they care to gently remind us to drop our daughter early so that she can benefit the most from it and does not miss on the ‘circle time’ every morning as a lot of learning happens during circle time and after that. i have never seen Ms. Neetu seated only in her office doing official work, she is very involved in the daily montessori activities. At times, she is in the classroom with some kids on her lap, sometimes she is helping carry snacks/ food for the kids from the kitchen to the classroom, at times you see her decorating the school and helping the teachers in training the kids for Halloween/ Christmas/ International day events and dance performances. I like the fact that being a director, she is NOT someone who is only doing official work, barely interacts with parents and is rarely seen! The teachers Ms. Priyani, Ms Manu and Ms Ooranoos are also very good, very patient with the kids and my daughter is very fond of them. I have seen tremendous improvement in my daughter since the time she has been going to this school, not just academically but also socially, she loves going to this school, has made lot of friends there and has lot of incidents to narrate at the end of the day when we pick her up. Most importantly, I am glad that my daughter is very happy and comfortable at school and looks forward to going to school every day.I dont think I could have found a better school! Star Priya L. – Fremont, CA We put our son Ahaan in school when he turned 2. I did a lot of tours of schools to find the right school for us. I remember very vividly my first visit at LAPMS . The moment u enter the school u can feel a genuine warmth. The place feels like an extension of ur home… safe n full of love. For us safety, affectionate environment n personality development were utmost important n this school definitely did fit the bill. Ms Neetu is the anchor of the school. It amazes me how she takes care of every small detail about each n every child in the school. She genuinely cares n loves each child . Over the years my boy has had amazing teachers. He is becoming smart , independent n most importantly loving. It is all because of this school. All his teachers starting from Ms Rose n now to Ms Manu are awesome. Ms Manu is so motherly, I know my son is in safe hands. Thank u n keep it up Star Ankita S. – Fremont, CA My daughter has been going to LAPMS since she was 18 months old. The teachers here are warm, kind and affectionate towards every child. As a working mother I have always felt assured that my daughter is safe and happy in that environment when I am away at work. The teachers are relentless and dedicated . We are also very happy about the academic progress of our daughter and can see her gradual progress. The teaching techniques that the teachers use make learning fun for the little ones. The teachers and staff at LAPMS really set it apart from other montessories and preschools. Ms Neetu is best with children and in understanding them and I cant thank her enough for always being there for me and my family. She has always been our go to person for advices. Ms Rose, Ms. Anai, Ms Azeeza are hands on with little ones that makes them so dear to the children. Ms Manu is just like a mother to every child in her class and no wonder why the children don’t want to leave her. We miss Oranos who was another brilliant teacher. Also need to mention Ms. Aruna, Ms. Priyani, Ms. Heena, Ms. Savitha, Ms Aremda and Ms. Naeema who are not my daughter’s class teacher but are no less in showing their concern. I cannot forget to mention Ms Natasha who in a short period of time has become children’s favorite and who inspite of sometimes being bothered with so many questions and asks from me and other parents continues to be kind and polite. The food options in the school are also very healthy and varied thanks to auntyji. There have been moments of ups and down but positive points of this school far outweigh anything else. I need to thank all the teachers and staff at LAPMS from the bottom of my heart to look after my daughter so well! Star Deepa R. – Union City, CA Both of my kids went to this school. Each of them stay there about two years. Both of them had a great time over there. Teacher are very caring. My kids come home with smile everyday! They can’t stop talking about their teachers. Ms. Neetu, Ms. Hazel, and Ms. Aruna did wonderful job to keep kids learned and played. I would recommend this school to any parents. Star M. F. – Fremont, CA I have been sending my kids to this montessori for the past few years and I can’t praise it enough. Starting with the staff, right from dropping the kids in the morning to taking care of the kids all day long to picking them up in the evening, I can rest assured the kids are happy and safe. The teacher are so great that my kids dont want to stay home even if they have the option, and keep talking about their teachers all day long at home. When my youngest first went to this pre-school, I expected it to be tough for her being away from home but in two weeks she was loving it. Can’t praise the teacher enough!! The curriculum is great for encouraging kids to learn at their own pace and we are often surprised with how much they picked up when out of nowhere they apply what they learned to conversations we have with them. Lots of encouragement for arts and craft as well as reading, writing and some maths. Student teacher ratio is just right that all students get equal attention. They do a great job of keeping the premises clean and safe for the children. Their play yard is really well kept and safe for the children. Great job! to all the teachers at LPMS for their fantastic jobs. Star Eric C. – Fremont, CA Our 4 year old daughter has been attending this school from over 8 months now. We are very very satisfied with the school and seriously cannot imagine a better place for our kid. The director, Miss Neetu is so awesome that she knows each and every parent and greets them with their names every morning & evening. I have never seen her and Miss Natasha at front desk without a smile and they also greet all the kids very patiently each morning. As a 4 year old, she can do some basic math and write etc. Her vocabulary has also improved. All the teachers Miss Priyani, Miss Aruna, Miss Manu, Miss Oranoos are very patient with kids and my kid keeps talking about them even at home and on weekends which tells me a lot about the environment, this considering she is not very good with transitions, which she surprisingly didn’t have much problem with when she was moving between classrooms. I have also seen Miss Neetu in the classroom sometimes sitting with a kid in her lap who is transitioning to the new class. All the emails from the school start with “Dear learn and play Maple family” and it is really true, it feels like a family. Big THANK YOU to Miss Neetu and all the teachers. We are so impressed with the school that we have already decided we are going to enroll our soon-to-be born newborn at this school when they are ready 🙂 Star Soumya K. – Fremont, CA My LO has been going to this school for about a year now and this bunch is the best you can find. As with any child, mine too had an adjustment period where we had these crying outbursts for two weeks on and off, but the staff and teachers not only assured us while dropping her off but by calling us and telling us how she is doing. It’s been so long and Ms. Neetu and Ms. Hazel always bring their sunny smiles every single day! It’s heart warming and reassuring that you are leaving your child in the absolute best hands. Ms. Neetu knows so many languages, so my daughter initially felt so comfortable that someone spoke the language her parents speak at home 🙂 They genuinely care about the children. Ms. Naeema, Ms. Savita and Ms. Armida are so caring and do such a great job with the kids, it’s difficult to imagine how they do it day in and day out. They are loving, kind and gentle with everyone. It makes me feel great that apart from learning the ABCs, the children also learn to be gentle and the happiness brushes off onto the children from these great teachers. All the other teachers also take such great care of the children and smile graciously when they see parents or children. I have way too many good things to say about this school and the people that make it great, but I will just stop at saying that this is really an amazing place to send your child. This is a happy place! Star Seasons U. – San Francisco, CA My daughter has been attending this school since 1 year and she absolutely loves it. Teachers are very experienced and caring. I would highly recommend this school to the parents who are looking to enroll their child into school. I am very pleased and happy about my decision on sending my daughter to this school. Star Komal P. – Union City, CA The best, really! I have been a mother of four children for 13+ years, so I have been dealing a lot with the child care centers. Based on my experience, Maple campus is wonderful! It is on a smaller side, so all teachers and kids know each other. The whole center is well maintained. The playground is huge with a lot of activities. Teachers are nice, warm, caring, patient, knowledgeable, and fun! The director is just wonderful. All children is that center are her children, really! I highly recommend this center to everyone. Star Elina K. – Fremont, CA My son started LAMPS (Maple Campus) in June, 2016. We had moved from Dublin to Fremont and we had 2 wait 2 months to get a spot here, as we moved mid session (March). However, since then there has been no looking back. I couldn’t be more happy with the choice of school. Ms.Neetu the director is amazing, full of positive energy knows each and every child and their parents well. The school is well-organized, they send reminders emails (Thanks to Ms. Hazel), secure and everything else you would expect (clean, good food, fun events etc). Both Ms.Neetu and Ms. Hazell are cheerful, pleasant and accommodating to your needs as much as they can. In terms of learning, I have seen a huge difference in his behavior in a positive way. He has learned new mannerisms, become more independent and more confident in general. He has also learned a lot academically. Teachers pay attention to kids and help with their areas of weaknesses and build on their strengths. Thanks to his class teachers Ms.Monu and Ms. Oranus. They are very affectionate and patient with kids. I would almost say they love the kids in their class, always friendly and cheerful. My son always comes home and says nice things about his teachers. He loves his school and teachers and looks forward to going to school everyday. I have nothing but great things to say about this school. Star Sakshi J. I need to thank all the teachers and staff at LAPMS from the bottom of my heart to look after my daughter so well! Star Deepa I. – Fremont, CA Before choosing L&P, I toured at least 10 preschools. I even made a table on a spreadsheet for comparisons. Choosing a preschool where I send my child for 11 hours a day, 5 days a week, is a big decision for me. And I am very glad that I picked this preschool. I had to wait 1 month, but it was all worth it. They provide early childcare & breakfast (before 8 AM), lunch and snacks. They have a very clean facility, good balanced academic programs and other extra-activities (for additional fee). Kids are allowed to learn at their own pace, which is a big thing because my daughter started almost the end of school-year. After going to a home-daycare for 2.5 years, my daughter was ready for more learning experiences at her own pace. I didn’t have a lot of opportunity to see my daughter’s first teacher except one time during our tour. Fortunately, I can meet her second teacher every morning when she moved to her next class. My daughter loves Ms. Ranya. When we come in the morning, she always greets us and shake her hands. Few times (when she was not too sleepy), my daughter would run and hug her. Ms. Ranya’s name came up whenever she was telling stories about her school. The early-childcare teacher (I forgot her name) is also very kind and understanding. I also like the director, Ms. Kshama. She seemed to be on top of everything. During our first month, she always updated me/my husband on my daughter’s progress. Which is a big plus. I’m very impressed with her and her teachers at this school. Star Liena K. – Fremont, CA My 5 year old daughter has been in this school for two years. She loves this school so much. She is very happy to go to school every morning. The teachers and staffs are very professional and friendly. The facility is safe and clean. I will definitely recommend this preschool to my friends. Star Yanzhe Z. – Fremont, CA It was hard when I made the desicion to put my son Vidyut in Learn and play Montessori Mapple street when my son was 3+ years old. But L&P justified why I should prefer them to choose. I toured almost all the schools around fremont and this facility was very much neat and clean, the management was pleasant to treat us good. My son is kind off a home sick child and he dont prefer outside food, but to my surprise he got used to it in real quick time and kudos to the staff. My first thank to Miss. Shree, the one who took care of my son in Class room 3. She was so nice and patience enough to handle kids. His first learning started from there. He had a very good time in school. And a year later he moved to classroom 5 where Miss. Aruna and Miss Priyani played a very big role in making my son do home work. It was quiet a challenge to make him sit and write, but Miss. Aruna and Miss Priyani did their role more than what you except. To my surprise he became friend of both the teachers and he never like to start early from the school. Both of them took care of all the kids individually and they know what a thier class room kid will do at what time. It was an amazing journey for my son in class room 5. Before we took a vacation he was in Class room 3 where the most talented Miss. Shanti played a huge role in teaching the Kindergarten syllabus. Infact they learned all the Kindergarten syllabus in Class room 5 at the age 4-5, now he is competing with 1st grade public school students though he is KinderGarten. All credit goes to Miss.Shanti. During his room 3 period, you dont belive my son can read a book with a minimal assistance and he can write sentences on his own. Apart from curicullum, they are making the children independent in doing things, serving food and other social activities. I recommended this facilty to 4 of my friends and they are very much satisfied in choosing this one. I would also like to thank the management group who always welcomes you with a smile Miss.Kshama, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Desiree and Miss. Neetu. They are one of the strong pillars for this success and to my surprise they know about all the kids in the center personally. Its pleasure to have a relationship with one of the wonderful school for the buddig ones. Star Dhaney P. – Fremont My daughter has been in L&P Montessori @ Maple for 1 year and half. She has grown from a little baby to a decent preschooler. She has not only learned a lot (we are always surprised at her progress), but also developed nice social skills, and making a lot of friends. We so far have had great teachers for her two classes like Ms. Jenny, Ms. Anu, Ms. Apple and others. Actually all of them are pretty awesome! There used to be two months when some of my daughter’s teachers left for different reasons and I was very concerned. But now everything is stabilized again I am so relieved. Regarding to this, I want to thank Ms. Jenny in particular. She has been a great ‘school mommy’ and helped to create a stable environment for my daughter’s class. We feel sorry that my daughter needs to graduate from her class and go to another class soon but on the other hand, I can’t wait to meet the other great teachers in this school. Star Jing D – Fremont, CA Pros: Friendliness: Ms Neetu greets every single kid and parent by first name when you come to drop of your child. I found this very impressive and welcoming. The teachers there are also very approachable. Ms Rose and Ms Anai were great with my daughter. Security: It is more than just a sloppy signature on a lineup sheet. They have a pin code system to check in and out your kid. They also have a staff member open the auto-locked door. Education: My daughter left the school after a year because we moved. She will be 3 this fall and can count to 20, knows the whole alphabet and can visually recognize MOST of the letters and numbers. They greatly assisted with potty-training. My daughter was also a hard girl to put down for naps but after a few weeks at school it became easier for me to put her down for naps. Cons: My only reservation about LAPMS is that it isn’t set up to see your child in their element. They ask that you make drops offs very brief, a drop and leave basically. I completely agree and understand that drawn out goodbyes are not helpful in comforting a separation anxiety-stricken child and can be a distraction for other children. But while they offer parent-teacher conferences, they do not have a way for parents to observe their child. Their building isn’t really set up for it. I would have liked to see how my daughter interacted with other kids and observed her in her class. Overall: I would recommend sending your child there. I would return my kids there if I ever move back. Star Danielle B. – Oakland, CA I’m glad I found this preschool for my 2 year old son! The teachers are very sweet and caring, and they are very understanding when it comes to toilet training. The director Robin is very hands on and approachable. I love how they have themed days corresponding to what the children are learning, they bring in a petting zoo/reptiles.. Take fieldtrips to the fire house. My son had a quite a few behavioral issues and our pediatrician was worried that he may have some autistic qualities.. Ever since my son has been here, he is learning to follow directions, take turns, share and best of all his speech has really taken off. He loves coming to school and in fact, never even cried on the first day! They provide a hot breakfast in the morning included in the tuition and snacks regularly throughout the day. The building is one giant room subdivided into smaller classrooms that flow into each other, but I like that, since this is preschool and not elementary school.. The school provides regular written assesments on your child’s progress in class and they also conduct a gross motor assesment out in the playground. Star Mozart B. – Fremont, CA L&P Maple has been a wonderful choice for our 3 yr old. He has been going since 18 mos and has had tremendous growth in every aspect of learning from motor skills to cognitive skills, social skills and much more. The teachers try their best to ensure each child is on track with age appropriate skills. He has made many friends and will miss L&P so much. Ms. Apple & Ms. Anuprita are not only his teachers but loving caregivers who we as parents adore, and our son loves. They made our son feel included and cared for each and every day. Thank you so much L& for everything. You have an amazing facility. Star Amanda R. – Milpitas, CA Choosing Learn and Play for my daughter has been one of the best decisions that I have made. Before signing my daughter up for this school, we shopped around to find the best environment for our little one. My daughter has been attending this school for about two years and I have seen such positive growth and development since she has started. She has been with Miss Ranya since she started and is doing great! I absolutely adore Miss Ranya and wish that I can have her teach my daughter until she goes off to college :). Miss Ranya’s loving and nurturing personality truly shows. She also continues to celebrate the success of her students. Learn and Play provides a great balance of education and fun. Star Janice R. – Union City, CA L&P Maple has been our children’s home away from home going on 2+ years for our son and daughter. Our son graduated out of the Kindergarten program while our daughter is currently in pre-K, but soon to transition out to attend the same school as her brother. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about L&P Maple. Our children have flourished under their teachers, who are extremely dedicated and supportive of the students. The mixed-age, Montessori based final classroom (for the oldest set of kids) helped prepare both our children on several facets of practical learning, and we see the difference as they have (or are) transitioned out. We have gone through two sets of directors, and both have been fantastic, hard-working, and diligent on the management and running of the campus. Lastly, the administrative staff is very attentive – as parents we stay in touch with the administrative staff via email constantly. Also, we have seen a steady improvement in the overall safety of the campus, which is important to parents when comparing other locations / centers. So, the glowing appreciation of the teachers, staff, and administrators notwithstanding, our only recommendation to the L&P ownership is to invest the money in the empty plot of land next door to the Maple site and expand the campus to make this a premiere facility – give our kids some “room to grow”. For anyone considering L&P Maple, we would highly recommend it based on our experience. To the director(s), teachers, and staff – thank you for a great two plus years of helping our kids blossom, and we wish all of you nothing but the best in the future. Star Anirban M. – Fremont, CA My daughter has been going to Learn & Play Montessori Maple for six months now and she LOVES it. We started her out on the morning program three days/week. Within two months, she wanted to stay longer so she could eat lunch with her friends. So we increased her to the half day program five days/week. Then a month later to full time. She absolutely adores all of her teachers, the jobs, & art projects. I think having the extra curricular activities on site in the afternoon has made the long days more fun for her. She has a blast in ABC Music, Kinderdance and Tuff Tumblers – all offered at the school for an extra fee. Her teachers are very caring and attentive. There are usually three – four teachers for her class so there are eyes everywhere. One teacher can take care of a child who needs extra help while the others make sure the class continues smoothly. I’ve seen such a transformation in my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She was more timid before, didn’t talk a whole lot and took a while to warm up. But since being at Learn & Play, she has blossomed into a more assertive and independent child. The life skills she has learned at school always amaze me… she comes home knowing how to cut with scissors or a knife (with help), pours liquids, straightens up after herself, etc. Of course, she is a sponge for the academics, too. While on Christmas break, she was asking me to do worksheets and jobs! I can’t say enough good things about this school. I know in my heart I made the right decision for my child by sending her to Learn & Play Montessori Maple. Star Jennie J. – Fremont, CA My 3 year old son has been attending Learn and Play for over a year, and he loves it!! He can be a little shy and was a little behind with speaking, but attending Learn and Play has done wonders for his social skills as well as his language development. All the teachers we’ve had the pleasure of working with have been amazing! The structure is something my very active toddler needs and it’s so amazing to see how well behaved he is there and all the many things he is learning. There is no doubt he is thriving at Learn and Play Montessori, and we are so glad we made the decision to have him attend. This isn’t something we had to do, we don’t necessarily need child care, but we felt it was very important for our son. Thank you Ms. Nalina, Ms. Apple, Ms. Cynthia, Ms. Helen and Ms. Jenna, you are great at what you do!!!!! Star Kat G. – Fremont, CA My son went to Learn and Play Montessori at Maple for more than 2 years and all of us greatly appreciate the facilities of this school. The teachers are amazing, always smiling and interacting with the students and their parents, the school premises are well secured and my son learned a lot from going to this school. Before attending L&P he went to a different day care center and we decided to move him here because of the reviews we saw about L&P. We never got a chance to regret our decision, he had plenty of fun time learning, playing and doing extracurricular activities and always happily talked about things going on in the school. It was a pleasant experience for us and we will miss this school a lot. Special kudos to Ms. Priyani, Ms. Aruna and Ms. Ranya for their role as a teacher and going beyond to always encourage the students and engage them in their learning activities. I hope we get teachers like them at the Public school that my son will be attending soon. Star Vikramjit Mitra – Fremont, CA
