Pumpkin Patch

October would cease to exist without our pumpkin patch. Our pumpkin patch will take place on Friday, October 31st 2014. Our parking lot will be transformed into our own Learn and Play Montessori School Pumpkin Patch.
The pumpkins are $3.00 for a small cantaloupe sized pumpkin. Payment will be made to the front desk. Payment must be submitted no later than Friday, October 24th 2014.
Halloween Costume Parade

The parade will be held in our school parking lot in which it will be closed off during the event of pumpkin patch and parade.
As always, make sure to choose a comfortable costume for your child as he/she will be in the costume most of the day. Please understand we are unable to change all children’s costume after the event. Costumes will need to be easily assessable for restroom use. Please consider the multiple factors before picking out your child’s costumes. If you are unsure about the costume or have any questions, please ask the front desk.

At Learn and Play Montessori School LLC, we do not encourage candies or chocolates for children. Please do not send candies, desserts or chocolates to share for the classroom during Halloween events.

For Currently Enrolled Parents only.
Our Back to School/ Parent Education Night will take place on Friday, September 26th, 2014 at 6:30pm.
Back to School Night is a great opportunity for parents to meet the head teacher and get acquainted with your child’s classroom environment and be informed of any guidelines in helping the teachers to make your child succeed. Parents will also get to learn about the Montessori approach and method used in your child’s classroom.

FALL Picture Day

Friday, October 10th, 2014 C4, C5, C6
Please check your child’s folder for picture selection form or please see front desk. The picture forms is to be completed and turn in on the day of picture day. Classroom portrait will be taken promptly at 10:30am. If your child is not scheduled to attend that day, your child is still welcome to join us however the child must be accompanied by the parents.
Again, parents have the option to purchase the photographs but are not mandatory. Pictures will be printed by Lifetouch Portrait and will be sent to us within three weeks after the pictures are taken and prices will be included in the package. Please be on-time for the day as there will be no makeup Picture days available.
