Dublin, California, parents are excited about the return to school. The problem is that there is a lot of uncertainty. Will the kids be back online only? Blended? Face-to-face? Any or all of the above? When? Where? How? It is certainly confusing.
Well, one thing is for certain and that is that our online kindergarten in Dublin, CA, the option is stable and won’t go away: indeed, our teachers will work WITH the public school curriculum to help the kids stay up-to-date.
We have been working flat out since before shutdown as we realized that things were never going to be the same. However, whatever happens, barring the sun going out, we will never let our children down, and that means that their education has to continue come what may. This is precisely why we have developed our online kindergarten in Dublin, CA, for those parents whose lifestyle may have changed and can no longer bring their child to school every day.
Our Campus Is Open But Online Learning Is Also An Option
Certainly, our Dublin campus remains open for face-to-face teaching and learning, as do all of our other campuses in the East Bay, but online learning is now an option for those who need it. It means that your child can continue using the Montessori method, even though it is not quite the same online.
For example, every one of our campuses has a playground where the children can play and get up close to nature. We understand that online learning cannot allow for that. However, we can carry out tuition online through Facebook and Zoom using live teaching every day.
Not only that, but you can let your child connect online, and after the class is over let him or her out into the garden or park, in the same way, that he would go into the playground between classes. This is something that we would highly recommend.
Incidentally, all of our live classes are recorded so that if your child cannot watch live for whatever reason, he will be able to catch up on our YouTube channel.
The program works as follows:
Facebook Live Teaching and Presentation session every day for 30 to 45 minutes for each age group – Facebook Live URL – https://www.facebook.com/learnandplaymontessorischool/live
18 months to 3 years: 10:00AM PST
3 years to 4.5 years: 10:45AM PST
4.5 to 6 years: 11:30AM PST
In addition, there is a 30 to 45 Minute Zoom call with a teacher and other students every day for children ages 3 to 6 years old. Details will be given to you when you have enrolled your child into the course.
Worksheets and homework assignments will also be uploaded to our parent portal, and again the details will be supplied when you enroll.
