Q. What does the program cost?
A. Our programs are affordable, based on the amount of time needed for your child. Use the tabs above to browse costs and rates, or feel free to contact the office for up-to-date rates and tuition. Costs differ as well between daycare/childcare, preschool, kindergarten and after school programs.

Q. How do I enroll my child?
A. The best first step is to call the office and ask any questions. You can also sign up for a school tour, and if you’re ready, at that time we can give you the paperwork and forms to fill out. Enrollment is easy, but of course forms are required.

Q. Is this a licensed preschool program?
A. Yes, all our programs meet city and state regulatory requirements. We are a licensed provider, and fulfill all necessary requirements. We go above and beyond the state requirements as needed.

Q. What is your methodology?
A. We are a “Montessori-inspired” program. This means we take the best of Montessori methodology, allowing the child to lead the learning process and instill a passion for learning. That said, we recognize that the jobs of the future will be in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math. Thus, we focus on STEM and also incorporate strong language and multiculture aspects to our program.

Fun Factoid about Montessori
The Montessori method of education is named after Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952), one of Italy’s first female physicians. In 1907, Maria Montessori helped open a small school for 3- to 6-year-olds in the slums of San Lorenzo in Rome, using educational materials she had adapted and developed in her earlier work with mentally handicapped children. She called this first classroom “Casa dei Bambini,” or Children’s House. These children, the poorest of the poor, came every day to the simple, beautiful classroom with white walls, tables and chairs sized for them, green grass in the courtyard outside, and a teacher who would show them the materials Dr. Montessori had developed.

Maria Montessori began to observe a change within the children: “…little by little, the children began to work with concentration and the transformation they underwent was noticeable. From timid and wild as they were before, the children became sociable and communicative…their personalities grew and, strange though it may seem, they showed extraordinary understanding, activity, vivacity and confidence. They were happy and joyous.”

Fun Factoid about South Fremont, California
Fremont, California, is named for John Charles Frémont, an army officer and explorer who had a great interest in the area. The city is located in the area of one of the largest gold discoveries in the world. The California city was once a quiet agricultural community that was very self-sustaining. The discovery of gold turned this quiet city into a booming area for gold miners. In 1848, miners in the Sierra Nevada Mountains started a general dig that would change the future of the entire area. Soon into their dig, they discovered gold, surprising the miners and setting them into pure excitement.

That discovery rapidly changed the whole area of Fremont from having a large agricultural interest into a “one stop shop” for miners arriving there. Gold continued to be found in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for many years, but it did not last as long as many of the residents had hoped. As it turned out, over the years less gold was being found and the hype about the discovery was becoming a thing of the past. For a short time, the area became a resort for visitors to Fremont. Even though it was a great place to visit, Fremont once again turned into an agricultural community that provided foods for all the surrounding areas.
